A charming small Art Deco oak book trough/ magazine stand dating from circa 1920s-1930s. Freestanding, with carry handle and platform base, with 2 book shelves to the front and a magazine or newspaper stand to the back. The chamfered sides taper to the bottom and it stands on shaped and stepped feet. A stylish and useful piece in good condition with good colour and patina to the oak. Label to underneath: “Homettes British Made”.
