Small 19thC Welsh Box Settle Pew
A stunning South Cardiganshire pine and elm box settle of desirable and rare small size. With the most wonderful proportions , sweeping scroll arms and grained surface.
This gorgeously sweet settle will easily accommodate two people, the gently sloping back making it eve so comfy.
Original throughout and in the most exceptional condition. Strong and sturdy and suitable for daily use this piece is a real gem.
Purchased from a private cottage in Henllan Ceredigion, the property for which it was originally made.
Overall Length 103. Seat height 45cm. Seat depth 38cm. Overall depth front to back 50cm
