Small 19th Cent Moon Dial Longcase Clock
A pretty little longcase clock by Thomas Williams of Axbridge, Somerset. The case is in nicely figured mahogany with ebonised details.
The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a most attractive painted dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and date indicator. It also displays the phases of the moon in the arch.
The case is in good unrestored condition but has the odd mark associated with age and use. The movement is in good working order, keeping good time and with all functions operating as they should.
The maximum dimensions are:
208cm (82") high
49cm (19") wide
24cm (9.5") deep
