Six Oak Dining Chairs by Lamb of Manchester c.1875
Fine set of six mid Victorian oak dining chairs by the celebrated English cabinet makers Lamb of Manchester c.1870. As is typical for Lamb the quality of timber and workmanship is exceptional whilst the design is unusual with an nod to the Gothic revival and Aesthethetic movements of the day. In very good unrestored condition, solid and sturdy with original castors. Three of the chairs retain their original red leather upholstery. With a clear maker’s stamp to the underside of each chair.
