Superb set of six Arts & Crafts or Art Nouveau oak dining chairs c.1900. Solid oak frames with arched cresting rails carved with Art Nouveau style flower seed head motifs, the stems continuing down the length of the unusually shaped spindles. Rear stiles topped with flared pommels. Green leather seat pads with metal studs. Raised on tapering square front legs with moulded feet. Very good original condition, solid and sturdy, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 18″, depth 16″, height 43″.
