We are offering for sale this tall, elegant Silver Plated Corinthian Column Table Lamp together with a new shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge etc. television series table lamps.

The silver plated lamp has a stepped base with gadrooning, a plinth with laurel wreaths on all four sides and a corinthian column with capital, as shown. The base is baized.

The shade is in the 'Dorchester' style and the body is made in cream moire silk, with the crown in silver grey moire silk. The fringe and tassels are in cream and the fringe is overlaid in toning beads in shades of cream and silver. The braid is in matching tones.

The lamp is wired in silver twisted, braided fabric covered flex, has a safer switched lampholder, new plug and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good. There is no loss of silvering to the base and the shade is new.
