This ARP warden lapel badge dates to just before the outbreak of WW2.
The badge is fully hallmarked for London, 1938, and the maker "JC", who we have not been able to identify further.
The badge measures 2.7 cm (1.1") by 3.9 cm (1.5"), and weighs 9 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The badge is in very good condition … maybe just a slight flattening of the fixing lug.
