Here we have a most stunning Arts and Crafts Moorish settle or window seat by Liberty and Co c1900. As you can see the settle has amazing colour and patina. There is a beautiful deep buttoned Chestnut Leather seat which is truly outstanding. The leather seat sits perfectly with the intricate turnings. spandrels and carved elements of the Moorish design. The settle was purchased by relatives of the private house from which it came in around 1907. It is in wonderful condition and has not been on the open market for over 100 years. A truly beautiful and very rare seat in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 115 cm wide 70 cm high 45 cm deep.
