A very unusual set of 19th mahogany folding library steps. They have insets in each step to allow for materiel to be inserted. They are in excellent firm strong condition. Sizes open: 13”(33cms) wide, 29 ½ “(75cms) deep, 35”(89cms) high. Sizes closed: 13”(33cms) wide, 6”(15cms) deep, 38”(97cms) high. Date circa 1870. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
