Set Of Eight Mahogany Dining Chairs
A set of eight good quality early 20th century mahogany dining chairs in the Hepplewhite style.
This set of chairs consists of six single chairs and two armchairs.
The back rail is carved with fleur de lys decoration with rosettes to each corner and the side supports consist of graduated and reeded columns with carved leaf decoration.
The four central supports are turned and fluted with leaf decoration, the armchairs having outswept arms with scroll ends also with leaf decoration.
The upholstered seats are finished in a cream fabric (this could easily be re-upholstered by the purchaser with own choice of fabric).
The front rail is of serpentine shape leading down to tapered square legs supported by an H stretcher.
All chairs are in excellent condition, stable construction and are ready to go straight into a home.
