A stunning set of 8 Regency fruit wood dining chairs with a simulated rosewood finish. This beautiful set of dining chairs have many highly decorative features including an elegant reeded top rail with central brass boss, an upper back rail with distinctive roundals, central back rail with rosette brass boss and fine swirling uprights. The chairs are raised on elegant sabre legs which are decorated with brass rosettes. The cane seats are in excellent order and are topped with drop in seats, newly covered in a cream moire fabric which looks great with the mellow tones of the wood. There are historic restorations to one of the chairs legs and two of the chair backs, some old wood worm holes have been treated for peace of mind. The chairs are sound with no loose joints. This is a really lovely set of Regency dining chairs,comfortable to sit on and ready for the home.
