A good quality set of 8 (6 side and 2 elbow) mahogany Chippendale revival dining chairs. The classic pierced ladder back design with well carved decorative detail. The generously proportioned seats with serpentine shaped front rails. The square tapering front legs joined with strengthening "H" shaped stretchers. The carver/elbow chairs with shaped arms and subtle carved detail. The original stuff-over upholstered seats show signs of wear and would benefit from a change of fabric. Good original patina, fully cleaned and waxed.
