Antique rare set of 8 (6 + 2) mahogany Georgian Regency dining chairs.

Date from C1820-1860. Fantastic age, colour and patina.

Solid and strong with no loose joints.

No woodworm.

Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Chair 49cmW x 54cmD x 84cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Carver 57cmW x 54cmD x 84cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period set of dining chairs), but all is good and strong now. All chair legs have been professionally tipped at some point in their lives.
