A very substantial set of six 19th Century dining chairs. These chairs, in mahogany, have been cleaned and refinished. This set has the two end chairs slightly smaller on the height of the back than the other four, same style, same timber, same in every respect but the backs are a little lower, made like that quite clearly. The seats have recently been reupholstered and are really clean and tidy. In our opinion the very best style of Victorian chair, they are one that you can happily sit in all night and enjoy the dining and the conversation without having the move elsewhere. Very sensibly priced as we have not been forced to reupholster the seats as they are in such good condition as mentioned above. Timber is great quality, and a rich mahogany colour, carving on the nicely shaped cabriole leg is crisp, all in all a great set of chairs and can go with the cabriole leg table they sit around if required. .........If you only wanted four round a table, these chairs can also be used as additional seating in another room (bedroom, lounge, conservatory etc) as they are most confortable. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
