Set Of 4 Mahogany Dining Chairs Circa 1790.
Nice set of 4 chairs circa 1790. Made from mahogany with satinwood and ebony inlay on the backs. These chairs, although on the small side are sturdy with all joints solid and would be ideal if you havent a lot of space. The seats are in excellent condition having been newly re-covered.
One of the chairs is slightly smaller but this is barely noticeable. Also three of the chairs have minor, historic signs of worm but this is restricted to the back rail of the seat only where veneered pine was used which is not uncommon for chairs of the period.
Height - 34" Height to seat - 17.5" Width - 18" Depth - 16" All items are offered for sale in excellent condition commensurate with age and ready to go straight into the home. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
We are happy to arrange couriers or work with a courier of your choice if you wish to arrange yourself.
