A group of 4 brass ships type lanterns from the 1970s. These have developed a good patina over the decades and have recently been re-glazed and have had mirror reflector panels reinstalled to the backs which projects the light further into the room. They have been fully rewired but using the original patinated brass bayonet fitment globe holders.

The light that is thrown out by these lanterns is rather pretty due to the brass grills on the fronts and sides, these grills force the light to produce the effect of sunrays through cloud breaks as can be seen in one of the pictures. They have previously been fitted to walls through the back doors as can be seen in the pictures of the backs, these holes are not visible from the front due to the mirror reflector panels.
