Set of 8 Spindle Back Northern Country Chairs - With Carvers - c1890

A top quality set of eight rush seated oak framed northern spindle back kitchen dining chairs presented in excellent condition. This is a fully original set.

The chair frames are rock solid and the oak, combined with excellent build craftsmanship, delivers an exceptionally robust and comfortable set of dining chairs.

Turned front legs with hoof foot are united by a classic box stretcher box extra robustness.

The set consists of six diners and a pair of carvers. All have the desirable 46cm (18.1") seat height and are ideal for daily use.

The chairs offer comfort and a very pleasing seating experience with the quarter woven quality reeded seats in superb condition.

Overall a superbly stylish set of 8 antique chairs which will serve and perform excellently. The set offer a rare opportunity to enjoy classic country chair-making with such total practicality.
