A matched set of 6 antique Victorian mahogany balloon back chairs, the channelled frame with scroll top rail having central boss, overstuffed serpentine seat with shaped rail, raised on cabriole front legs and knurl feet. The seats have been newly recovered in a brocade fabric in cream over the existing upholstery which is in good condition. A very attractive set of high quality chairs with lovely carving and in good condition.

Good condition. Mostly solid frames, some slight give. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. Some old repairs to the tops and uprights on a couple of chairs (see photos)
