A very stylish and good quality set of antique William IV / late Regency dining chairs in rosewood dating from circa 1830. A really good quality, solid set of chairs with attractively carved top rails and carved and pierced bar backs. They stand on turned, acanthus carved front legs and have sabre legs to the rear. The drop in seats have been newly upholstered in a good quality fabric. In beautifully figured rosewood with beautiful figuring and warm patina, solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful set of dining chairs.

Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Some old mends to the backs of the top rails of some of the chairs and an old well executed repair to the leg of one chair (see photo), all solid and sturdy.
