Scottish George III Tea Table
Circa 1790. A good George III Scottish mahogany and inlaid demi-lune fold over tea table. The top with rich colour, with boxwood banding inlay, is hinged and opens to reveal a rich interior with plumb pudding mahogany, frieze with double banding inlay, back legs hinged, sweep out to carry the table top when open. All resting on four elegant square tapering legs finishing on an extending splayed foot. Table has original good colour and patination.
