a fine example of a domestic regulator longcase clock by good scottish maker andrew millar of west nicolson street edinburgh.
the silvered , circular dial with roman numerals and brass bezel.
the case, which is of neat proportions,is a lovely rich mahogany with wonderful patina, the hood with arched pediment and brass finals and canted corners, the trunk with glazed door, flanked by canted corners, brass weights and brass pendulum on a wooden rod, standing on plinth base.
the eight day movement is in very good working order and is keeping excellent time.
