German Saxony model 1867 Infantry Officers sword.Double fullered straight blade, 31.52 long. Engraved with the coat of arms of Frederick August III of Saxony.Makers stamp P.O. & Co, along with Eisenhauer garantirt.
Folding guard with royal coat of arms, fish skin grip with wire, total sword length 37". Scabbard repainted and with old rust spots, also blade loose in scabbard as top dust cover missing from scabbard throat.
