Antique Rushlight.
This charming 18th century Rushlight has an additional candle sconce.
Metal work is blacksmith made & sits on its original fruitwood base.
As can be seen in photos there is an historic drying out crack which is stable & has not moved for many years.
The base is of wonderful colour & has an hand adze finish.
This Rushlight was purchased 50 years ago in North Wales from a collector.
Condition completely original, crack as mentioned, historic deceased woodworm.
height 11" by base 4" diameter.
