A 'Rocking ship' Georgian oak and mahogany crossbanded Dorset longcase clock. A swan neck hood pediment surmounted by brass finials. Finely fluted hood detailing. Fluted mahogany hood side columns. Mahogany inlay to the trunk door and a raised base panel. An attractive arched painted dial with gilt decorations, seconds and a date aperture. A rocking ship automaton to the arch. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.
