Restored Circa 1900 Leather Chesterfield Club Sofa
We are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare original antique circa 1900 cigar brown leather Chesterfield club sofa in restored condition with feather filled cushions and custom made to order hand turned walnut bun feet

A really very rare find, you almost never come across early 20th century Chesterfield club sofas and never with the period correct leather unless it’s in pieces. This sofa is just about as timeless as you could ever hope to find in terms of the lines look, feel and model, it’s the fully buttoned tradition tufted model so the highest in the range, the sofa has a wonderful distressed patina and has been stripped back and then hand dyed this wonderful cigar brown colour. It has overstuffed feather filled cushions, the feet have been hand turned in walnut and fitted with special 12mm axels so they can be easily unscrewed to help with transport, lastly the piece has a new hessian base cover
In terms of the model this sofa is the highest in the range, it has the solid beech and oak frame, a coil sprung base which is has each spring hand tied eight ways, hessian padded and supported, the cushions are goose feather filled and very comfortable.

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.
If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.

We prefer collection on all items from Wimbledon SW19-3BE, If you have your own courier or wish to book the collection in yourself we are happy to accommodate you.
