Elegant Regency mahogany bow front writing or side table c.1815. Flame mahogany veneered top with a shaped gallery around the sides and rear and a crossbanded edge with ebony stringing. Over a single central working drawer flanked with dummy fronts, each retaining their original brass knobs. Raised on fine tapering and turned legs to the front and rear with crisp carved twist detail. A couple of old splits to the veneer on the top, otherwise excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
