Regency Rosewood Breakfront Bookcase
A Regency rosewood breakfront bookcase of good proportions and superb quality.
This bookcase consists of a veneered rosewood top with a turned moulded edge, beneath are four brass paterae and four nicely turned columns.
The piece has two open sections, each having three crossbanded (and adjustable) rosewood shelves and to the centre is a cupboard with central door with two shelves to the interior.
The door has a rosewood frame with a brass lattice grille and central rosette decoration with a pale blue pleated silk fabric.
The bookcase is supported by six turned feet (four to the front an two to the back).
This piece is in very good original condition and can go straight into a home.
