Regency Rosewood And Brass Marquetry Cabinet Chiffonier cabinet regency bookcase %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Super quality and fine English Regency rosewood and brass marquetry two door chiffonier cabinet with original brass grilles and glazed doors, circa 1820.
Very decorative with the pair of turned rosewood columns and their brass collars to the top and base, the contrast with the rich rosewood is very effective.
Internally, there is a single full width fixed shelf and the base surface, so giving you bookcase, display or perhaps drinks cabinet space.
This cabinet is in good original condition, fully cleaned and beeswax polished so it has a wonderful mellow glow.
Currently, the lock is not functioning, so the key is used as a door pull only.
Measuring:
35 3/4 inches 91 cm high
41 1/2 inches or 105.5 cm wide
15 1/4 inches or 38.5 cm depth at the base
16 inches of 40.5 depth at the top
34 cm both shelf heights
