Antique Regency or William IV carved mahogany walnut sofa scroll arm settee.

Large and attractive, with lovely slender proportions and amazing melon fluted front legs.

We are are unsure of the type(s) of wood used in this sofa, it is likely to be mahogany, walnut and a show wood....this one is really hard to determine.

Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.

The upholstery is recent and has no significant wear or marks. We have not inspected concealed components, although the seat is soft without any major lumps and bumps.

Unusual lift out back (held on by dowels).

200cmW x 65mmD x 83cmH (35cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There are historic woodworm holes, that we believe are extinct and have treated for good measure. Period castors with quite a bit of wear (as you would expect).

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
