This is a lovely neat little chiffonier with a bookcase or display shelving section above. It has nice colour, that early browner shade of mahogany one finds on the older items. The handles appear to be original or certainly very early if not and there is a working lock. quite rare really for an item this old, normally broken or missing a key. It has a good configeration too with the slim drawer for cutlery just under the top and a wider lower drawer for whatever else you may need to store that will not fit into the neat little cupboard. The top of the open section boasts a pair of acorn shaped finials, a rather nice little touch. It is a really neat size and would be fantastic in a cottage perhasps, but in reality it can of course go anywhere. It is in unrestored condition so has a few reassuring marks for the last 150 years plus but it has been cleaned and rewaxed so is most presentable. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
