Rare dance purse enameled PARROT compacts chain purse vintage gifts for her

A rare enameled dance purse made showing a parrot on the lid. This is a compact duo with a compartment for rouge & an even more delightful compartment for face powder with a rotating powder well lid. The powder well cover has a stylish cover engraved with zig zags & chevrons. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror above the rouge is still usable although it has quite a few age related stains - this & the small patches of enamel loss on the case are reflected in the price. The base very attractive too smart red enamel so eye-catching with the silver tone border & engraved edges.
This vintage dance purse compact measures 2 1/4" X 1 3/4" ( the chain handle measures 4 3/4" tall) & weighs 66.5 grams.
