A lovely vintage Kigu "Party Case".Both the lid & base show the ornate design we have come to expect from mid century Kigus. The jewellers gilt finish is excellent as is the whole item. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. It is a double access carry all with a face powder compartment (image one) which is unused. The puff & sifter do not have any traces of powder. The mirror is good. The inner lid is decorated with a honey comb design & an oval cartouche inscribed with the triangular Kigu registered
trademark. The other compartment is for seven vintage cigarettes or money. The cigarette holder
& everything in excellent working order. The "Snake-Type" chain perfect & sturdy. A very
practical evening bag. The lipstick still works & there is still some pink lipstick left. The lipstick has the triangular Kigu trademark. Measures 3" X 3" & weighs 184.5 grams.
