This is a unique Indian Brass figural bowl supported on a stand of three Cobra snakes with red gem set eyes and dates from the late 19th Century.
The brass bowl is of rounded form and moulded in high relief with figures of Gods set between scrolling floral panels and repeated all the way round.
The bowl has a round base which sits atop the heads of three Cobra snakes which form the stand, the snakes have a scale design incised into the body and red gem set eyes.
Although unmarked is attributed to D.Z.Dinguruhamy, King Street, Kandy.
