Here we have an outstanding and rare George II Mahogany table c1740. As you can see the table has excellent colour and patina. This fine table has the most beautiful Cuban Mahogany top with wonderful grain and colour. The heavy top folds to a rear gateleg action. There is a single drawer with Oak linings and hand cut dovetail joints. The drawer has a carefully chose piece of timber for the front with a fantastic wave to the grain. The drawer retains the original and wonderful brass handle. The legs are beautifully tapered to a pad foot and have wonderful carved spurs to the top. A superb example of its type in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 71 cm wide 71 cm high 35 cm deep.
