Here is a rare and stunning quality three-piece French empire walnut duchess, suite freshly upholstered suite, circa 1860.

Here is a rare and stunning quality three-piece French empire walnut duchess, suite freshly upholstered suite, circa 1860. The suite duchess suite consists of two matching wing chairs and a footstool. The footstool is shaped to fit into the front of the armchair. The suite is constructed of solid walnut and features a very pretty carved cartouches and a floral frame, which terminates in cabriole legs all round. The suite has been freshly upholstered in a rich gold and cream brocade upholstery. The armchairs features scroll arms wing shape sides and a serpentine front. Likewise, the stool features the same detail with a carved floral frame, cabriole legs and a serpentine front and back. The base of the suite is firmly sprung so that you do not sink into the seats but at the same time is extremely comfortable.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, living room, and dining room to the conservatory. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
