A charming early 19th century wooden barn lantern with four glazed panels, original wire hanger, iron candle holder, wire hinges and handle. The handle wire protrudes through the wood operating as a latch when the handle is turned keeping the door closed this system still functions perfectly.

The lantern shows signs of wear commensurate with approximately 200 years of age but remains in a remarkably good condition overall.
