Rare Childs size mid 18th century small sword. Has brass mounted pommel, mounts and butterfly guard. Leather and wire bound grip. Steel tapering blade with gold or brass inlay near forte on both sides. Made probably for a child of three to four years old. NB There is no scabbard with this sword. In generally used and worn condition and missing brass knuckle bow to hilt.

Approximately 60cm overall and blade 47.5cm.
