Rare Antique Chestnut Wardrobe by Ambrose Heal. This is a fantastic quality, very rare antique wardrobe was designed by Ambrose Heal in 1903. Made in solid fumed, Spanish sweet chestnut and featuring unusual turnbuckle door handles with recessed, squashed heart handles to the drawer. Listed and featured in the Ambrose Heal design book. In superb condition throughout, with just a small, old and very sympathetic repair to the corner of the cornice. This antique Heals wardrobe provides plenty of storage space with plenty of brass hanging rails and hooks, the two robe doors open to show a clean, large hanging space with a single drawer beneath. The double wardrobe splits into two sections for moving. A special piece of Ambrose Heal antique bedroom antique furniture, rare in chestnut, amazing quality. We have the matching chest of drawers.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We can provide an overseas shipping service.

Terms and conditions

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
