Rare 19thC Welsh Table Settle - Free UK Delivery
A superb and extremely beautiful early 19thC Pembrokeshire Table Settle in exceptional condition and retaining most of its original paint finish.
A cosy and comfortable piece to snuggle up on and at just 4ft 3" wide is desirably small.
Of strong traditional design this type of sled foot settle is rarely found outside this picturesque county and oozes Welsh rural charm.
The settle back simply folds down to create a spacious and wonderfully tactile two plank top dining table that will seat up to six people.
The box base also offering ample storage perfect for boots or kindling for the fire.
Without doubt one of the best examples we have seen for many years, simply gorgeous and as original as you can find.
There is a near identical example in the bar of the Royal Oak Pub in Fishguard with full local provenance.
