A beautiful 19thC wrought iron blacksmith made Gridiron of rare round form with riveted round bars. In exceptional original condition with beautiful surface. Gridiron’s were used for cooking meat and fish on open and down hearth fires, we usually find them of square and rectangular form, this round and riveted example with round bars is a particularly rare form. They look fantastic hung in a kitchen or near the fireplace.
