Rare 18th Century Padouk Wood Hand Chair Anglo Indian Paduk %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
RARE 18th century solid padouk wood George I style hand chair. Gorgeous hard, heavy wood used throughout. Nice shape chair with cabriole front legs with claw and ball feet, wavy stretchers and nice shaped back with carved decoration to the top rail. The drop in seat is caned, the caning is old. The chair is all pegged together and is in very good condition for its age.
We believe this chair is of Chinese origin.
