Rare 17th.Century Spanish Vargueno Cabinet

A rare 17th.Century chestnut and inlaid Spanish Vargueno cabinet on stand. The exterior showing shaped iron straps and dove tailed joints, The sides with iron carrying handles. The front inlaid with outline fruit wood and an intricate iron lock plate with drop down clasp and keys. The fall opens via 2 shaped iron hinges to reveal 18 various sized drawers all with solid moulded fronts and turned pulls with further inlay between the drawers. The solid chestnut trestle base having shaped open ends with shaped iron supports. Condition- Original and very good with one iron corner strap missing. Dimensions:- Maximum Dimensions inc.
