A bold and impressive burr walnut writing desk in the queen Anne style. Of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and of generous proportions. With a series of 4 short and one long , central drawer. All fitted with their original brass drop pendant handles and all lockable (key supplied). The desk top fitted with a 3 part sumptuous leather writing surface with gilt tooled decoration to the surrounds. With canted corners , embellished with carved floral detailing. All standing on cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and feet. This desk is finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if desired. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
