A French mantel antique clock of high quality with two very well cast bronze cherub/putti. Gilt ormolu mounts with rams heads flanking the white marble vase. Rococo gilt ormolu inset mounts to the base panel and chased flowers by the cherub's feet. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. An enamel dial with chased floral detailing around the numerals and gilt pierced hands. Circa 1895.
