French Gilt metal and ormolu clock with 8 day duration and silk suspension, movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell with the outside countwheel and backplate stamped with the trademark of the maker Raingo Freres.The round white enamel dial having black roman numerals and signed Raingo Freres Paris.lovely Gilt and floriate cast case with number788 to rear of case as well as backplate of movement. Working perfectly. Replaced new mainspring as well as clean and oil service. A perfect example of this famous clockmaker.
