We are offering this attractive pair of French 19th Century Spelter Figures that have been converted into Table Lamps and are complete with mottled amber shades, as shown. The lamps have a bronzed finish, with soft gilding to their clothing. The male figure is a farmer, who is casting seed from a cloth around his waist, while the lady is carrying a sheaf of corn over her shoulder and another tucked into her apron. They are both standing on stepped, ebonised, circular wooden plinths.

The glass shades are amber with a paler mottled surface and frilled edges.

The lamps have been rewires with fabric covered braided flex and have new inline switches and 3 amp plugs. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good. There is no damage to the spelter figures, or to the glass shades. The wiring we discussed above. There is a hairline crack to the wooden base of the male figure.
