Vintage compacts antique powder compacts POMEIAN BLOOM 1920s

A delightful antique Pomeian Beauty Powder and Bloom compact rouge made in 1928. The compact is in good condition. The lid shows a finely detailed image of a vase with a stylish symmetrical floral display. Concentric rings frame the elegant display perfectly. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror still gives a good reflection although there is slight age related haze. The original powder plate full of rouge is in place. The base has a fine hammered appearance. It is signed 'POMPEIAN BLOOM MEDIUM MADE IN U.S.A.' An authentic flapper themed gift or one for your collection.
The advertisement (image four) for this rouge proclaims 'Here is a way to sparkling loveliness youthful beauty instantly!' Measures 4 cm & weighs 20.8 grams.
