Pine Display Cabinet / Bookcase
Dating to the end of the 19th century and being crafted in solid pine, this stunning German display cabinet / bookcase is in very good sturdy condition and is well constructed.
Standing on turned feet, the cabinet has 3 shelves to the inside which are all fully adjustable up and down. This is enclosed with a glazed door complete with working lock and key. The glass in the door is the original rolled glass and is in good order with no cracks. Flanking the cabinet is a pair of turned columns which have gadrooned and acanthus leaf carvings with stylized classical ionic capitals.
This is all finished off with a traditional ogee cornice.
This is a lovely piece of German antique furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the cabinet but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The cabinet measures
34.25 inches wide max / 37 to outside of cornice
20.5 inches deep max / 22 to outside of cornice / 17 internal
61 inches high over all.
The cost to deliver this cabinet to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh) is £75.00.
