Pearl Wedding Gifts Kigu Compact Set
A super pearl wedding anniversary gift! This vintage mother of pearl vanity set was made by Kigu Ltd. in the 1960s. The set is in very good condition and does not appear to have any traces of powder/lipstick. The compact will hold all standard size powder pans measuring 67 mm diameter. For example - Max Factor Creme Puff and Rimmel Stay Matte. The lipstick holder will hold tubes of lipstick measuring approximately 15 mm diameter. All catches and hinges work exactly as they should. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The original case is lined also in good condition. It is lined with cream satin and crimson velvet. The black felt pouch is present. Both the compact and lipstick holder are signed 'KIGU'. The compact measures 3" and weighs 90.2 grams. The lipstick measures 2 1/2" and weighs 21.9 grams.
