An elegant pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs in walnut. A good quality example with carving, stuffover seats and shaped cabriole legs. The seats are upholstered in a red coloured velour fabric. Good original patina.

Fairly solid frames (slight give to one chair). Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Upholstery is fairly new (a few small marks). Some old worm holes to seat rails (visible underneath). Small section beading missing to front of one chair (see photo).
